Carrie Underwood has been spared strange pregnancy cravings so far, but that doesn't mean the country music star hasn't changed her diet.

The vegan admits that she's made a few alterations for the sake of the baby. However, she intends to go right back to her old lifestyle after giving birth. According to Taste of Country on Wednesday, the singer has been eating as a vegetarian over the last few months.

"As soon as I am not pregnant anymore I will go back to being vegan," the singer insisted.

"I don't think I am craving anything to crazy," she continued. "I try to keep it as healthy as possible and try to take care of myself. And you know, putting good things in."

Underwood has still been working out since she announced her pregnancy on September 1, but her routine has been altered to accommodate her current condition.

In other Underwood happenings, The Something In The Water singer has been hitting the red carpet this month with plenty of glitz and glam. She sported a glittering dress that accented her baby bump and also went with a smokey eye look.

"I do try to wear makeup [a lot]," noted the singer, explaining that she "just feel[s] better" when she has it on.

Underwood and husband Mike Fisher, who plays in the NHL for the Nashville Predators, are expecting their first child together this spring. While they've confirmed that the baby is in fact a boy, they've elected to keep the due date confidential.
