After the trailer for Jurassic World came out, some critics have complained about the heavy use of visual effects, and director Colin Trevorrow has addressed those concerns via Twitter.

Jurassic World Storyline To Be Very Different From Previous Movies In Franchise

In the clip as the camera pans into the gate of the park, it looks a bit plastic, and unreal.

On November 24, a fan asked if the gate in the movie was the doing of visual effects:

Gory Stills Of The Diabolous Rex In Jurassic World Leaked?

"Will the JW gate in the movie be CGI or practical? Everything was so seamless in the original," the fan asked.

"The gate will be practical. Real wood, concrete and steel," Trevorrow responded.

"So, was the gate in the teaser practical," another fan questioned.

"The gate is practical, the environment isn't. That shot was made specifically for the trailer. The film will be different," Trevorrow answered.

The trailer is more suggestive and audiences are made aware of the danger that lurks about through the dialogue between characters, the prime villain, the hybrid dinosaur, is not made visible to us at any point. Owen (Chris Pratt) is later seen telling Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) that the beast will kill anything that moves. There is one spectacular scene of Owen speeding on a motorbike with a bunch of medium dinosaurs racing with him.

The Jurassic Park films are based on Michael Crichton's series of novels about pre-historic beasts being revived by revolutionary gene technology. Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley are co-producing the film alongside Steven Spielberg, who directed the first two installments in the franchise. Pratt, Howard, Khan and Ty Simpkins star in the movie.

The film will hit theaters on June 12, 2015.
