On Wednesday, talk show host Ellen DeGeneres shared what she was most thankful for this Thanksgiving and her long list of things made audience members both "aww" and laugh.

In the videos, which both can be seen below, DeGeneres first gave thanks for elastic waist bands, which most people will need after a day of eating turkey and other holiday food.

She continued by letting her audience know that she is grateful for them.

"I am grateful for you - all of you," she said. "Without you I would be up here talking to no one and that would be sad. I am thankful to have this show and this platform to reach millions of people every day - it's not something I take for granted."

DeGeneres then added that she would never exploit her platform for her own benefit and then she jokingly began to promote her new holiday album.

Of course the talk show host is also thankful for her wife, Scandal star Portia de Rossi.

DeGeneres is thankful that her wife is on Scandal because she says that getting to know what's going to happen early makes her feel powerful.

"Speaking of Portia, I'm also grateful for the magazines because without the magazines, I wouldn't know of she was pregnant or not or if we're getting divorced or getting remarried - I keep up with it that way."

She also went on to thank her assistant Craig, and also the cast and crew who work endlessly to make her show successful.

It's clear that DeGeneres has a lot to be thankful for this holiday season and she concluded her speech by talking about the importance of always lending a hand to help others who may be in need.
