The men's basketball final, USA vs. Spain, takes place at the London 2012 Olympics on Sunday and promises to be a fierce rematch of their classic final of four years ago in Beijing. The game starts at 3 p.m. London time (10 a.m. ET) and can be watched online through live stream (please see link below).

LeBron James has said: "I thought we had the potential to be really good, better than the '08 team, but the '08 team brought home gold, so we've got some unfinished business still left."

So Team USA will go into today's final knowing there is still the final hurdle to overcome, and that is the all important task of claiming the gold medal.

This United States side is hugely impressive and is overflowing with talent - more so than the side that regained the Olympic basketball title four years ago.

The Spain side will be really up against it, having fallen short four years ago their side is arguably inferior now, and they have struggled through some games so far at this London 2012 Olympic Games. They will be coming up against the best the NBA has to offer and with talent such as LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Kobe Bryant and Carmelo Anthony most fans are expecting a much wider margin of victory for Team USA than four years ago.

In the 2008 final Team USA won a thrilling contest 118-107. That game went down to the final few minutes as Spain were just four points behind with only two and a half minutes remaining. That game will be remembered for the beautiful attacking minded nature of both sides who weren't afraid to let loose and give their all to try and claim the gold medal. Team USA just came out on top that day to re-impose themselves as the world's best men's basketball team, and they will be looking to show everyone how much further they have come on since then now.

Team USA's claims to be as good as the Dream Team have made some scoff, but their stats show that those wild claims are backed up at least on paper. They are averaging 116.7 points which is just off the famous Dream Team's record of 117.3 per game

"We obviously have a lot of talent. Our team here is pretty ridiculous," Bryant has said.
