The Librarians Flynn Carsen has a problem, and, as much as he hates to admit it, it's one he can't solve on his own.

The star of TNT's Librarian trilogy, Noah Wyle's Flynn will have to team up with his new guardian Eve Baird (Rebecca Romijn) when the Scorpion Brotherhood starts taking down potential Librarians to get to King Arthur's Crown. With only Jake Stone (Christian Kane), Ezekiel Jones (John Kim) and Cassandra Cillian (Lindy Booth) left alive, Flynn will have to utilize their skills as his world comes crumbling down.
Well, how do we take this character from being a lonely character to being a team character? And the answer was to ruin his life," explained executive producer John Rogers in a new behind-the-scenes featurette. "Destroy his world, take away the Library, take away everyone he's loved up to this point, and then he has to create a new group of people to help him in this quest."
Considering Wyle is already involved in TNT's Falling Skies, Rogers had to create a world where Flynn was not always around.
"John Rogers wrote the only script that he could have possibly have written, the only plot that could have possibly made sense that would make me want to step aside and sort of hand the reigns off to another group of people to kind of carry the show while I'm not here," Wyle explained.
So while Wyle is away, the young Librarians will play. And by play, I mean save the world.
