While names like Jackie Chan and Hulk Hogan have been thrown out so far, it seems like these two actors, who were considered before, could be joining the fourth installment in the Expendables franchise.

How Likely Is It For Dwayne Johnson To Join 'The Expendables' Cast?

Two names that surfaced as possibilities for the last movie but didn't pan out could be interested in coming on for the next one: Nicolas Cage and Milla Jovovich.

Cage has popped up on multiple features this year ranging from the underrated Joe to the bloated apocalypse drama Left Behind. The actor has never shied away from a role and could always be down for some action with the next movie in the franchise.

Jovovich is known best for her roles in The Fifth Element and the Resident Evil series so adding her badass persona would be a no-brainer.

The duo was rumored to be interested in joining the last movie, according to a year-old Deadline report that also had Jackie Chan and Wesley Snipes joining the cast. In the end, only Snipes made the final cut, but the three others are still interested in a spot in the franchise.

So far, no definite plans have taken shape for the action series, but Sylvester Stallone is looking for some of the big-name action stars to join up with the usual crew. Names like Hulk Hogan, Pierce Brosnan, Dwayne Johnson, and Manny Pacquiao have come up with the last two possibly playing the next film's villains.

Right now, Stallone is hoping to make another Rambo movie before he goes back into the Expendables franchise, but plans on making another one that is rated-R.
