An insider told Radar Online Monday, "bravo is very nervous to do the show without Teresa. They feat that without her, the show will not be as big of a success."

The original plan was to begin filming as soon as possible so in order to capture Giudice's process of heading to prison next month. But after a hiccup, fans might have to go all of 2015 without seeing the series.

"[Bravo is] exploring shelving the season until 2016, when Teresa gets out of prison. By having her fresh out of prison, there would be a clear storyline. It would also pull on fans' heartstrings to see the changed Teresa back in the limelight."

They went on to shut down speculation that Giudice and her husband, Joe Giudice, have already begun filming for the hit series.

"These reports are not true. There are many people who are trying to hurt Teresa by claiming things that don't really have a strong basis in truth. Believe it or not, Teresa really does not have an interest in being in the spotlight at the current moment."

They pointed out that Giudice has been in making any promotional rounds lately but rahter "staying relatively quiet."

Teresa and Joe Giudice pleaded guilty to several charges of fraud earlier this year. She begins her 15 month sentence on January 5. Joe will begin his 3 year sentence when she is finished. The couple has four daughters together.
