Months after their sex tape became the center of headlines, VH1's Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star Mimi Faust has confessed she believes her ex-boyfriend Nikko Smith used her for fame and money.

Faust spoke with Madame Noire in a three-part series titled Moment of Truth. In the final portion, she confessed she believed Smith had ulterior motives in their relationship.

"I think he used me to get where he wanted to be. He wanted to get his music out, he wanted to get his brand out there. He wanted to get himself out there, I was a platform to get where he wanted to be. Absolutely."

Just before the most recent season of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta ended, it was revealed that Smith was actually married to another woman. Faust said that while she was not aware of Smith's secret union, his mystery wife was very knowledgeable on his situation with Faust. She said that she even overheard a conversation between Smith and the woman in which she scolded him for leaving her for Faust.

The reality star said that her woman's intuition told her there was another woman, but she would have never guessed he was a married man.

"Yes he's telling me that's his ex and I knew that he dated her before. That they dated, I knew he had a girlfriend and I knew that was her. But married? I had no idea."

Still, she made it clear that whether he was married to another woman or not, they would not be an item today. She revealed they were having other issues in their relationship and continued to "butt heads."
