Quinn (Rena Sofer) may have finally gotten herself included in Hope's (Kim Matula) life again, but her chance to truly be a grandmother to the unborn baby could be short-lived on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Hope's Baby Shower Doesn't Go As Planned

Though Hope allowed her to stick around at her baby shower, things may not go very smoothly when she is there, and she could quickly find herself back at her warehouse with Deacon (Sean Kanan), where she will run into Liam (Scott Clifton). And though he isn't Hope's husband or fiancé anymore and is strictly her brother-in-law, he will remind Quinn that ripping their relationship apart didn't stop them from caring about one another.

"As long as I am breathing, I will protect Hope from you," he says to Quinn in a preview clip for the Wednesday, Dec. 3 episode.

Hope Learns Some heart-Breaking News About Liam & Ivy

Meanwhile, at the baby shower, Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) and Maya (Karla Mosley) will have a small confrontation as a result of their recent drama due to Rick (Jacob Young), and once again, things are set to get ugly between the model and the designer.

"Rick's come back to me before," Maya says to Caroline in the clip.

"I wouldn't count on that happening again," Caroline replies.

However, Caroline's confidence in her marriage is likely to be short-lived, as Maya knows Rick's real motives for taking her back only stem from Eric's (John McCook) threats that he would lose the CEO position if he didn't go back to his marriage-and instead of truly doing what his father wants, Rick is only pretending to be happily back with Caroline until he is firmly the CEO of the company, at which point he intends to reunite with Maya once more.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
