They were pegged as one of the teams expected to make it to the final three during season 25 of The Amazing Race, and professional cyclists Kym Perfetto and Alli Forsythe are still as shocked as fans are that they were eliminated from the race in Singapore.

Teams Experience Most Unpleasant & Dangerous Tasks Yet

In a post-elimination interview with TV Guide, the cyclists admit that their gamble on doing the Fast Forward obviously didn't pay off for them, something they regret now, even though they truly felt at the time that the Fast Forward was the best move for them in order to avoid potentially being U-Turned.

"I felt really confident and perhaps a bit cocky," Kym admitted. "It felt clear with the U-Turn coming up that it was a good move for us to do the Fast Forward...Obviously, I do regret it because I feel like we could've stayed in the race. However, I do feel a little better about it having seen the episode and knowing that everyone was planning to U-Turn us. Either way, it was a gamble."

Tim & Te Jay Talk Their Elimination

And though winding up eliminated was not what the two expected, they are glad that they weren't forced out by other teams and instead were the only ones responsible for their ouster.

"I'm happy we went out this way, going for the Fast Forward and not getting U-Turned," Kym said. "We went out on our terms, our decisions, not what someone else did."

The Amazing Race airs Fridays at 8 p.m. on CBS.
