Kelly Rowland's mother, Doris Rowland Garrison, passed away on Dec. 2, just about a month after the birth of her first son, Titan Jewell Witherspoon. Though she has yet to officially comment on the matter, her reps and publicists confirmed to various outlets that she had indeed, passed. Still, there are no details as to how or what caused her death.

Still, for the first time since the tragic news broke, Rowland posted a photo to her personal Instagram page with her newborn baby, Titan Jewell.

In it, the 33-year-old wife of Tim Witherspoon is holding her tiny baby with the light from a large window shining over them, creating a shadow effect. Neither her face, nor Titan's face, can be seen in detail but there is a certain sadness in the overall photo.

Kelly Rowland Gushes on Her Newborn Son in First Interview Since Birth, "In Love!"

The caption read, "My only sunshine......you make me happy, when skies are grey... #TITAN #LIFE." Though she did not directly mention her mother's recent passing, she did admit that her "skies are grey," noting that she, like any person would be, is in mourning.

Titan is just about one-month old and according to a new interview she did with Essence, she is "so in love," and "could look at him 24 hours a day." As many new mothers are, she has been protective with sharing photos of him, only posting photos of his feet and the back of his head to Instagram.
