Austin Mahone Denies Rumors About His Breakup With Camila Cabello

Following Camila Cabello's breakup from Austin Mahone, Fifth Harmony has been unlisted from The Today Show, where they were previously scheduled to appear alongside Mahone as celebrity elves.

"Last week’s briefing said the five Fifth Harmony members would serve as 'celebrity elves' for the Today Toy Drive. Issued to the press Friday morning, an updated listing positions country artist Jennifer Nettles as the 12/9 toy drive participant," Headline Planet reported on Friday.

Since no reason behind the change was given, there's no way of knowing exactly why Fifth Harmony's appearance was canceled, but the timing is certainly odd. After all, Cabello and Mahone broke up just weeks ago.

Although there were rumors claiming Mahone split from Cabello because she went public with their relationship in an effort to sell Fifth Harmony's music, both Mahone and Cabello denied either party was to blame for the split.

Cabello's mother, Sinu, got in on the action, as well, telling her followers on Twitter, via a J-14 report, "I'm literally crying of angry. I cleaned more tears in the last three days [than] in her whole life, don't start with these atrocities. What's wrong with you people?"

Mahone and Cabello began dating over the summer after a year-and-a-half of knowing one another.

Austin Mahone is still listed to appear on The Today Show on Dec. 9.
