The Spice Girls reunited on Sunday for the Closing Ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics. The 90s girl group featuring Victoria Beckham and Melanie Brown, exited glittery London cabs and spiced up the night with their hits "Wannabe" and "Spice of Your Life." Fans on Twitter approved of the long-awaited reunion. A video of the excited performance can be seen below!

"SPICE GIRLS TRUELY HAVE BEEN SOME OF MY FAVORITEPERFORMERS EVER!! SO HAPPY TO SEE THEM SHINING AGAIN!!!" @Allisonholker wrote on Twitter.

"If the Spice Girls don't reform and do a tour after last night I will bevery annoyed," @imi4n wrote, suggesting the girl group come together long-term.

The 90's girl group raced around the Olympic Stadium in a stage shaped like the British flag.

The Spice Girls formed in 1994 and broke-out around the world with their hit "Wannabe" in 1996. They are currently the all-time best-selling girl group.

With earlier buzz strongly suggesting that "Posh" Beckham had previously refused to participate in the Spice Girls closing ceremonial performance at the 2012 London Olympic Games, many were indeed shocked to see the starlet back on stage alongside the rest of the British pop group on Sunday.

Lucky for her fans, the now highly successful fashion designer wound up changing her tune and partaking in the world renowned event.

"I was a pop star for the night," she posted after the performance.

Overall, the crowd seemed to welcome the 90's icons with open arms. Hence, killer dance moves, taxis and good old fashion girl power seemed to dominate the crowd throughout. The quintet even performed their old school melodies such as "Spice Up Your Life" and "Wannabe."
