Phyllis Logan, who plays Mrs. Hughes on Downton Abbey, dished on her character from the series as well as if the staff will get cut and if there will be a Downton movie.

Something Will Be Taken Away From The Men On 'Downton Abbey?'

On Saturday, Express posted an interview with the actress who said that Mrs. Hughes is "unflappable."

"The only thing that flapped her was the whole Anna thing [lady's maid Anna was raped by a valet] as it was so shocking," Logan said. "She's had to deal with pregnant maids and she's suspicious about Marigold [Lady Edith's secret daughter]."

Is A 'Downton Abbey' Character Going To Sing On The Series?

It was mentioned that Hughes has devoted her life to the service, but times change in 1924. So what does this mean if the staff gets cut?

"That crosses her mind," Logan shared. "Things are certainly different from when Downton first began in 1912- 12 years later they've got a Labour government, telephones and electricity."

As for the chances of Downton ever getting a movie, the actress just seemed to hope that she'll be sticking around if that ever happens.

"Nobody has approached me, so I hope they're not bumping me off," she said. "I'll have to have a word!"

Logan also admitted that her family knows to be careful when it comes to what she can reveal.

"My husband usually goes through my lines with me, but for the Christmas special he said no one as he wants to watch it on Christmas Day like everyone else," she said.

Downton Abbey Season 5 will air in the United States on Sunday, January 4 at 9 p.m. ET on PBS.
