According to Deadline Friday, Giudice has filed a lawsuit against the lawyer who represented her during her bankruptcy case, James Kridel, Jr.

Based on court documents obtained by the publication, "Defendant Kridel, as a professional entrusted with the welfare of Plaintiff, committed egregious professional malpractice throughout the pendency of Plaintiff's bankruptcy case."

The site reported that Giudice blames Kridel for mishandling she and her husband Joe Giudice's Chapter 7 bankruptcy case, which lead to her being sentenced to 15 months in federal prison. Teresa and Joe pleaded guilty to several counts of fraud, including bankruptcy, earlier this year.

Now the reality star wants Kridel to pay for "lost income from business ventures from which other parties have withdrawn, repetitional damange, public ridicule and derision."

Joe hired Kridel back in 2009, but due to the fraud case it was dismissed in September, leaving the reality TV couple to owe more than $13 million to their creditors.

The lawsuit lists several mistakes Kridel allegedly made when heading the bankruptcy such as not revealing Teresa's employment or even the income she earned as well as cars that the couple owned or leased when they filed.
