Elton John's Fall VIDEO: Singer Embarrassingly Topples Over During Statoil Masters Tennis Event
Falling in front of people is embarrassing enough, but having it caught on camera makes it a million times worse. Elton John can probably attest to that after this weekend.
The legendary singer was at Statoil Masters Tennis event at London's Royal Albert Hall when he fell backwards off his chair as he went to sit. Former tennis player John McEnroe ran to help the 67-year-old, who was there leading one of the teams in the charity event. Luckily John didn't get injured and the crowd cheered when he got back up.
A reporter, who initially laughed after the fell, ran over to ask John if he’s okay. “I’m not standing,” the singer joked.
The incident was also posted as a Vine video and it’s reached over 1.8 million views in less than a day.
