Will 'Masters Of Sex' Season 3 Survive When Fans Are Turning On The Show?

Vance joined Masters of Sex during the show's second season. He plays the recurring guest star role of Dr. Hendricksm the head of an African-American hospital in St. Louis whose goal is to racially integrate his hospital.

Vance was recognized for an episode titled "Blackbird" when his character said he could not use black subjects in his sex study because of America's history of subjecting African-Americans to twisted, racist medical experiments. One of the star characters, Dr. Masters, countered by contacting a black newspaper and trying to get them to write a glowing article about his pioneering work, but when they looked into his personal history, he tried to kill the story by bluffing and threatening to make up all kinds of racist sex-study data.

The NAACP Image Awards will be live on Friday, February 6, 2015 on TV One. Red carpet stars at 8pm and the awards start at 9pm.
