After recently making the move to Los Angeles, U.S. gold medalist Ryan Lochte is now ready to dip his feet in new waters; the acting pool. The heartthrob swimmer is reportedly set to guest-star in the CW's "90210," according to E!, and it turns out he will actually be playing himself in the role.

Executive producers of the television series, Patti Carr and Lara Olsen, had the following to say in regards to having the 28- year-old on their show:

"When we found out Ryan Lochte was going to be in town and might appear on 90210, we felt like we'd won a gold medal!  Team USA are all-stars in our book, and we're so excited he's making an appearance on the show."

In his part, Lochte will run into the recently rekindled Max and Naomi, played by Josh Zuckerman and AnnaLynne McCord respectively.

During an appearance this past Friday on the "Today Show," Lochte revealed his interest in breaking into the world of reality television.

"I'm definitely looking towards Dancing With the Stars and The Bachelor, so we'll see what happens," he expressed.

Lochte's guest appearance on "90210" will air on Oct. 29th on the CW.  The show itself will be kicking off its fifth season on Monday, Oct. 8.
