Movie Pilot speculated on Wednesday of a way that Disney could create a sequel to Frozen and said that they could dig in the original story of The Snow Queen as inspiration of an avenue to go with the characters.

The only problem with this way is that it has a lot darker path than the original movie and could be too much for Disney to do.

According to the site, the story features an evil troll with a magic mirror that makes everyone see things as bad and ugly, a Snow Queen who kidnaps children and has bee minions, and the heroine being brain washed and kidnapped twice.

While this doesn't seem like the darkest route, it also seems a little more obscure than the magical, musical version that was so popular before. That being said, for a franchise that prides itself for being forward-thinking, it could possibly go a little darker with its story in order to tell something that feels new.

It may not completely follow along with this story, but it could be something that deals with some darker themes that would gives kids a much more broader view than the princess story that sold them with the last movie.

It hasn't been Disney's usual vision to do that, but it could be a new, different step in a direction the company has not gone in and has a strong franchise to back it up.
