Kerry Washington May Star In A New Film

Luckily for fans, the second half of the new season will return to Thursday night but until its return, viewers are hoping to get some juicy details about the second part of the show.

Kerry Washington Teases Fans On Twitter

During the winter finale, fans watched as Olivia Pope, the D.C. political fixer, went missing at the hand of the Vice President, and now fans are anxious to find out what happens next.

Unfortunately, the cast of Scandal has been pretty quiet and has yet to give fans a sneak peek into part two, but Washington did share another message with viewers.

On Monday the actress tweeted a little teaser, and then on Tuesday, she let fans know that she has also been nominated for an NAACP Image Award for her role on the show.

Washington has been nominated for Outstanding Actress In A Drama but this isn't her first time being nominated for the award.

Last year the actress took home the award, and fans are hoping she'll do the same this year.

It's no secret that this talented group has what it takes to break the TV screen every Thursday night, and viewers can't wait till their favorite show returns.

Scandal will return on Jan. 29 at 9 p.m. on ABC.
