Pippa Middleton penned an article this week talking about Kim Kardashian's butt.

"I must say that mine, though it has enjoyed fleeting fame, is not comparable," wrote Middleton of Kardashian's behind in The Spectator on Wednesday.

The "fleeting fame" Middleton spoke of was of course when her own backside took the internet by storm during the royal wedding craze in 2011, where she served as Maid Of Honor to her sister, Kate Middleton.

In discussing Kardashian's figure, Pippa began to explore "booty culture" as a whole. "The Kim butt story did make me pause," she wrote. "What is it with this American booty culture? It seems to me to be a form of obsession. Kim's aim, apparently, was to break the internet, but I'm not sure she's going the right way about it."

Kardashian indeed nearly did "break" the internet last month when she appeared mostly nude on the cover of Paper magazine.

While Pippa ultimately regretted the attention her "backside" received during the royal wedding, Kim is issuing no apologies about her cover shoot.

"I'm never one to preach, but I felt really positive and really good about myself," admitted Kardashian in People on Nov. 18. "I love the photos, I did it for me. I hope other people like them."

"As a role model I'm not saying anyone else should do that," explained the reality star, "but for me it was an art project and it taught me to do what you want to do."
