As reboot fever takes over Hollywood, one returning franchise is revamping a lot as Paul Feig looks to make Ghostbusters an all-female cast. But could one of the biggest stars in the world right now be joining the project?

In an interview with MTV UK on Wednesday, Jennifer Lawrence talked about who she would like to see in a all-female reboot of Ghostbusters and whether or not she met with Feig for a role in the film.

"I actually met with the director," she confessed. "I had dinner with him. ... I will never cross streams."

I will never cross streams? Does that mean she doesn't want to be a part of the project?

That bit was unclear, but for Paul Feig, it would be a big get to have Lawrence on board. The actress is a hot commodity right now with a strong comedic background who could infuse some personality to the film. She is also free at the moment with her involvement with the Hunger Games coming to an end and just a few small films to work on outside of X-Men: Apocalypse.

As with Lawrence, MTV pitched the idea to Insurgent star Shailene Woodley, who didn't pitch herself but did say that she wanted to see both Emma Stone and Juno Temple in the film.

Ghostbusters 3 is still in the early stages with Feig looking for casting members right now. Pitch Perfect star Rebel Wilson admitted earlier this week that she has been contacted about a role and was excited at the possibility.
