"Love and Hip Hop New York" returns to VH1 on Dec. 15, just one week after the craziness of the Hollywood branch reached its ratchet culmination. Still, the original franchise city has just enough madness of its own to keep fans on the edge of their seats for five seasons. One of the biggest reasons why fans tuned in last season was to watch the love triangle between rapper/producer Peter Gunz, Tara Wallace and Amina Buddafly.

Watch the Explosive Trailer for Season 5 of LAHHNY!

When fans first met Tara, she was the loving, nurturing girlfriend and mother of Peter Gunz' two young boys. As the season progressed, watchers learned that she was not the only woman occupying Peter's time, as he became romantically involved with his artist, Amina Buddafly. Things got bad and by the end of the season, Peter and Amina were married while Tara was left to raise her two boys on her own. Also, Amina found out she was pregnant and her adorable baby girl is here, today.

Needless to say, season one was a difficult experience for actress Tara Wallace, but now, she tells Enstars exclusively, she is getting back on her own two feet. "I am accepting what's happening in my life," Wallace said. "Last year, I was kind of going against the grain... Now, I know that this is all happening for a reason and you have to accept these things, no matter how tragic you think they may be."

She also told us that she and Amina have taken baby steps towards raising their children in the same family, on good terms. Tara explained, "I am starting to respect her as a mother and having smaller conversations... Baby steps."
