The Jodi Arias retrial came to a sudden halt Monday.

Jurors In Jodi Arias Retrial Given Another Week Off

On Monday, the retrial initially resumed, but was cut short since Judge Sherry Stephens ordered the jurors to return next Monday, Dec. 15 after a status conference played out mainly at Stephens' bench as reported by USA Today.

It was speculated that there were scheduling conflicts, which delayed the retrial from continuing on this week; however, Radar Online and The National Enquirer reported Tuesday that juror no. 3 was arrested, which is the actual reason behind the sudden delay.

It was reported that juror no. 3, Melissa Lenette Garcia, was arrested on Nov. 28, the day after Thanksgiving as Maricopa County jail records show.

Radar Online and The National Enquirer both reported that Garcia's mugshot is on multiple inmate search websites, but the there are no further details regarding her arrest.

Garcia is not the first juror to get booted from the retrial. Another was removed in October for speaking to a reporter during a court break.

The jurors may be on hiatus until Monday, but an evidentiary hearing was held yesterday (Dec. 11) in regard to the porn allegations involving Travis Alexander's computer.

FOX 10 Phoenix reported yesterday that the hearing resulted in a battle.

Mesa Police Det. Esteban Flores was cross-examined by Arias' attorney, Jennifer Willmott and Perry Smith who is with Mesa PD said thousands of files were changed on hard drive clone used by defense's computer expert.
