Paul Ryan's Wife: Learn About The Other Half of Mitt Romney's Republican Running Mate

Wisconsin United States Representative Paul Ryan was recently announced to be Mitt Romney's running mate for the 2012 Presidential election on Aug. 11. While the Republican politician has garnered attention from the ladies for his good looks and feverishly works on his campaign, he maintains a happy marriage of 12 years to Janna Ryan.

Before tying the knot with the vice presidential hopeful, the 43-year-old wife had been a successful lobbyist. She had also fought for health-related issues for Blue Cross Blue Shield health insurance and the American Physical Therapy Association, according to The Frisky.

Janna had even served as a tax attorney for PriceWaterhouseCooper as well as the Williams & Jenson company. She even possesses a law degree from George Washington University and was also Hillary Clinton's alma mater while taking up Spanish at Wellesley College.

It also turns out that politics run in the family for Ryan's significant other - both of Janna's parents were lawyers and her cousin is Representative Dan Boren of Oklahoma. 

Janna had recently inherited a trust fund reported to be worth millions after her mother's passing in 2010. The nest egg is said to make up a significant amount of the 42 year-old's net worth; which has been reported to be $4.9 million, according to The Huffington Post.

The political couple have three children together; Sam,7, Charlie,8, and Liza, 10.
