Nicole Kidman has spoken frequently over the last month about wanting more children with husband and country singer Keith Urban, but it looks like the recent rumors that the pair are in fact expecting might not be true.

Recently word emerged that Kidman and Urban are expecting a set of twins through a surrogate, which in part was why they returned to Nashville so soon after the death of Nicole's father, Antony Kidman, in September.

On Sunday, however, the Daily Mail declared that this rumor is in fact false and that the pair are not expecting any new additions to the family at this time.

The rumor itself may not be true, talk of surrogacy regarding the couple would not be unfounded. While Nicole gave birth to their elder daughter Sunday Rose, now six, little Faith Margaret, now four, was carried by a surrogate in 2011.

Nicole has spoken on a number of occasions about wanting more children with her husband, though they have no formal plans at this time to extend their family.

"My grandmother had her last [child] at 49," noted the actress in the January 2015 issue of Elle, adding that she always "wishes" that she were pregnant now.

Even though Nicole would always like to have more children, the couple have no formal plans to extend their family at this time.
