Nicki Minaj's new album was released on Dec. 15, and ever since then, she's been on a national press tour to promote her newest body of work. Besides going to Fallon, Ellen and more, the New York native stopped by Big Boy's Neighborhood to discuss her music. Minaj, who is obviously comfortable with the hosts, was open and candid about her relationship (or lack thereof) with Maybach Music Group rapper, Meek Mill.

Big Boy implied she and Meek were dating because he is featured in two songs on her album. But, according to Nicki, they are just friends. After the initial surprise of what the host said, she shut the rumors before they could even spread. "You heard that? Is that the new news out?" she jokingly asked.

"We're friends, we're friends... He's dope, shout out to him," Nicki clarified. "I hated that he was in jail because I feel like it was over something stupid, but no, didn't write him."

With tracks like "Bed of Lies," right now it seems like the 32-year-old rapper is worried about promoting her album and moving on. She was very open about her ex, Safaree Samuels, in a new interview with Rap Radar's Elliot Wilson for his intimate artist series, CRWN.

"It's just a sad time, because for the first time in my life, I realize everything I thought? It's changing right in front of my face. I didn't plan this. It's just happening. People keep talking to me, asking me questions, and I can't really answer certain questions because it's still happening, right now and I'm still goin' through the motions of like, what am I gonna do? You don't just stop loving someone, you don't stop caring for someone, you don't just stop worrying about them. Especially when you grew up together. And he really, really held me down in the beginning. [He] was the perfect person."

Luckily, Nicki has received rave reviews for her album, "The Pink Print." For now, that can be the rainbow in her cloud until the right one comes along.
