Tim McGraw and Faith Hill collaborate a lot both personally and professionally and that's just the way country singers, married now for 18 years, like it.

"We collaborate as much as possible," laughed McGraw fondly during an interview with Andy and Alison for IVK on Friday (featured below). "As much as I can get away with anyway."

While McGraw and Hill recently had a hit with their duet Meanwhile Back At Mama's, their life together at home isn't always about the industry.

"We do some [talking about music], but most of the time it's talking about teenage daughters," noted McGraw. "And where they are and what they're doing and where they go and where they can't go."

As parents to three girls, McGraw and Hill do their best to keep their children "engaged" and involved with family time.

With the holiday season just around the corner, family time is indeed important. When it comes to shopping though, McGraw admitted that his wife does most of the work.

"For the most part they want money," the singer said of his daughter, though he does occasionally get away with buying them jewelry.

With nearly two decades of marriage under their belt, the country stars still have a lot of life to live and music to offer.

"For me I just want to get better," explained McGraw. "That's what I always try to do, is just get better at everything that I do."

Striving to be the best version of himself both personally and professionally, McGraw thinks the best years are still ahead, as is the most work.

"I've got a lot more ahead of me than I have behind me," he insisted.
