Hawaii Five-0's McDanno fans will be treated to a bromance filled episode during season 5, one that will put the two investigators back into couple's therapy.

Steve McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) and Danny Williams (Scott Caan) have witty banter down to a science, but Five-0's leaders rapid dialogue usually stems from the duos inability to get along. A long stakeout will have the pair in need of a professional mediator, according to Entertainment Weekly.

"We have a great episode where McGarrett and Danny are on a long-term stake out," explained executive producer Peter Lenkov, according to Entertainment Weekly. "They move into this apartment together and Cloris Leachman is a nosy neighbor who keeps popping by. When she finds out they're cops, she wants them to help her investigate the person stealing her fern."

After filming the McDanno therapy scene for the season 5 premiere, O'Loughlin and Caan were eager to shoot another, even though it wasn't currently in the cards.

"My suggestion was - after we did that scene - because it was so good and so much fun, I suggested that we sort of have a massive, public argument and the general public would see and the government gets wind of it and mandates that we have to do it monthly," O'Loughlin explained on The Talk in November.
