It was an honest mistake, but that didn’t stop social media users from their jokes about President Obama’s mix-up.

During a press conference held on Friday to discuss his feelings on Sony’s decision to cancel the release of The Interview after threats from hackers, Obama called the film’s star James Franco, James Flacco.

“The FBI announced today, and we can confirm, that North Korea engaged in this attack. I think it says something interesting about North Korea, that they decided to have the state mount an all-out assault on a movie studio because of a satirical movie, starring Seth Rogen and James Flacco,” he said.

"I love Seth. And I love James. But the notion that that was a threat to them I think gives you a sense of the kind of regime we're talking about here."

After the incident went viral, Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco tweeted the President and said, "It's James Franco, not James Flacco ;)."

He added, "Welcome to the family, brother. @JamesFrancoTV."
