Parade posted an interview with the Cake Boss on Sunday that discussed the importance of baking during the holidays and whether Valstro actually enjoys the chaos.

"I love the bakery during Christmas time. There's such a happy, festive feeling. Everyone's excited to get their Christmas cookies and cakes. Making the festive items is a lot of fun, so it's really satisfying for me to see people enjoying them," he said.

Valastro said that the most popular Christmas cookie at his bakery, Carlo's Bakery, is the chocolate-dipped Christmas cookies and gingerbread cookies. "Both are classics and really festive. They make you feel the holiday spirit..." the star told Parade.

When pressed on how much butter and sugar are used in December, his response was "Wow...you sure you want to know?" The answer was 20,000 pounds of each for the month.

Valastro also mentioned that his favorite Christmas cookie is the chocolate-dipped cookies because he used to make them with his dad and now makes them with his kids. "No Christmas is complete without them," he said.

Valastro said that though the holiday hours at his bakery are greatly increased during Christmas time, they are used to it.
