'Agents Of SHIELD' Season 2 Spoilers: Kyle MacLachlan Back On Set [PHOTO], What Is Skye's Father Up To? [VIDEO]
Agents of SHIELD's Skye doesn't want dear old dad around, but that won't stop the Doctor from appearing in the second of season 2.
Skye/Daisy/Quake (Chloe Bennet) sent Cal (Kyle MacLachlan) packing before unlocking her Inhuman powers in "What They Become," but her father, and his own powers, will continue to crop up whether the young agents wants them to or not.
Ming-Na Wen (May) confirmed MacLachlan continued to film with the cast through Friday.
"Cold night shoot on #AgentsofSHIELD, but @Kyle_MacLachlan's warm personality heats things up," Wen tweeted. "He's the sweetest!"
When asked about Cal's impending return, executive producer Maurissa Tancharoen told Entertainment Weekly "he's definitely not done."
"We absolutely love the character," Tancharoen said, according to TV Line. "He is so much fun to write, because of what Kyle [MacLachlan] has brought to the table. We will explore that character as much as we possibly can."
