Petulant man-child Dandy Mott (Finn Wittrock) is set to converge with the freak show in the final episode of FX's American Horror Story: Freak Show.

Wittrock recently spoke with Salon, discussing what it was like to play the troubled character and what was ahead for him in the final episodes of the season.

"Dandy keeps inching closer to the freak show, and you can sense it coming," Wittrock said. "We're shooting the 13th [and final] episode now, and I think I can say the worlds collide without spoiling too much."

With Dandy's murderous tendencies, it's better to never cross paths with him as a general rule, so this is not looking good for the various performers still standing at the freak show.

Wittrock also discussed the grotesquely memorable scene in Tupperware Party Massacre, in which he sewed an Avon lady's head onto the body of his (dead) mother Gloria (Frances Conroy), calling it his Dot and Bette puppet.

"It was definitely 'how are we going to do this?' And I also had the reaction of, 'Wow, the writers really topped themselves,'" he said. "If you look back, there have been other references to puppetry. One of the first things I do as the clown is have the puppets on the strings. He wants to be a puppet master. He wants to be God and control the people around him."

There is no telling what atrocities Dandy will commit in the final episode of American Horror Story, though there still might be room for redemption.

American Horror Story: Freak Show returns for the final three episodes of the season beginning on Wednesday, Jan. 7 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
