Rolling Stone Shuts Out Carrie Underwood

With the release of her latest album, Greatest Hits: Decade #1, earlier this month the Something In The Water singer has spent a lot of time recently looking back. Working with artists outside of her own genre has been a mutually beneficial experience for all involved and has led to some one-of-a-kind music.

"It's cool to see the appreciation that artists outside of country music have for country music," explained Underwood. "They'll always sit down with me and they'll talk and they'll tell me their favorite people…I feel so honored to sing with them, and they feel so honored to be in the country music world."

Moving forward in 2015, Underwood will be working on her next album with some all new music. She is also expecting her first child with husband Mike Fisher, who plays in the NHL for the Nashville Predators. Their baby boy is due in the spring, though the couple has chosen to keep the exact due date a secret for the time being.
