Is Jennifer Aniston Jealous Of Her Brother's Pregnancy News?

In a new interview with The New York Times on Monday, Aniston talked about the physical transformation she had to endure, explaining, "It was all about there can be no muscle definition. I basically let myself go for the five and a half weeks that I gave myself to do the preparation, to be in that head space and live in pajamas. I didn't hate it. It's pretty nice to take a break."

What's more, her physical transformation wasn't the only thing the actress had to endure. Aniston, who is considered one of the fittest actresses in the entertainment world, said that she had to do research on people suffering with chronic pain.

Jennifer Aniston Is Feeling Pressure To Get Pregnant From Her Family?

"I went straight to a psychopharmacologist, and I said, 'Read the script,' because I didn't know what the effect was of Oxycontin mixed with an Ambien, mixed with booze," the actress explained. "She's really just cocktailing it up. In many ways the biggest part of my research was the accident - how did it happen? what part of the body was broken? And you just sort of imagine what that is, so there was getting all the physicalities down."

Aniston added, "When you're in that much pain, an Oxycontin doesn't take it fully away but it makes it manageable. I made these little flashcards because we were shooting out of order, just so that I could say, "on drugs," "not on drugs," "mid-drugs."

Cake is now in theaters across the country but in limited release.
