On Friday, Bieber posted a photo to Instagram that has people talking. The photo featured Bieber standing on a pier, looking away from the camera at what appears to be sunset. The photo is captioned: "Aren't we all just searching for peace."
This particular photo received over 1 million likes and countless comments. He appeared sad and lonely in the photo.
Then, on Saturday, Bieber posted a photo to his Shots account that also appeared to show how he's really feeling.
The photo featured the singer in a grey hoodie, in the dark, with a nearly emotionless face. All the photo was captioned was: "Merry Christmas."

These photos appear only one week after he posted a photo to clarify his relationship status. His suspected girlfriend, Hailey Baldwin, appeared in the photo with the caption: "People are crazy. I'm super single and this is my good friend u would know otherwise."
It appears that Bieber is trying to make it clear that he is still available and is seriously missing his ex. Gomez is reportedly waiting for a grand gesture to happen before the end of the year if Bieber expects to be able to get back into her life, according to HollywoodLife.
