Hayden Panettiere opened up about motherhood two weeks after giving birth to her first child and showed off her baby girl for the first time.

"I'm limping around. I'm still trying to figure out what [pregnancy] has done to my body, how it's changed it. What's temporary and what's permanent," Panettiere told People in the Jan. 12 issue. "I feel like an 80-year-old woman trying to go down the stairs, you know - please tell me this is temporary! But I know some things will never be the same again."

The 25-year-old Nashville star and fiancé Wladimir Klitschko, 38, offered the first glimpse of their baby girl, Kaya, with a family photo. In the picture, the couple is smiling while Panettiere holds the sleeping baby.

Despite the sleepless nights, Panettiere said her baby girl - born on Dec. 9 - is "so sweet." 

"I'm sure that's the way it's meant to be, because when they are putting you through the wringer you're like, 'You are so lucky you're cute!'" the actress said.

The former Heroes actress opened up about her future with the Ukrainian heavyweight professional boxer in the May 2013 issue of Glamour magazine and revealed how much she wanted to be a mom.

"I don't really have a plan. I've lived a very big life, and I don't feel my age, and I feel like I was born to be a mother," she said. "Sometimes people speak about [having kids] like, 'Your life ends-you're never going to be able to do anything again!' And I'm like, 'What are you talking about?' Motherhood is the most beautiful, exciting thing, and there's nothing that I feel like I can't accomplish while having children in my life."
