When asked about the nuptials last weekend, Mickael Letz, mayor of nearby French village Correns, said it was "more likely" the wedding would take place this weekend than last.
"It's a far more likely date," he said.
Photographers spotted scaffolding outside the main house of Brangelina's Chateau Miraval property on Friday, and new grape vines and a mini-olive orchard have been added to the vineyard. Reports say renovations on a chapel and reception hall for the wedding are already finished.
Also part of the construction is a new pool for the whole crew of Jolie-Pitt children: Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne.
Photos of the property also show extra security vehicles monitoring the grounds.
Rumors of a Pitt-Jolie wedding have run rampant over the last few weeks. Pitt even acknowledged that a ceremony could be coming as he spoke about the comments he and Jolie originally made when they said they wouldn't marry until gay marriage was legal in America.
"It seems to mean more and more to our kids," the actor said. "We made this declaration some time ago that we weren't going to [get married] till everyone can. But I don't think we'll be able to hold out. ... It means something to me, too, to make that kind of commitment."
