Following a Star Magazine report, which claimed the singer had gone to rehab for depression and substance abuse issues, Lavigne sent a message to her many fans on social media.
"The rehab RUMORS are hilarious!" Lavigne wrote on Twitter on Tuesday night. "The only thing I'm addicted to right now is Bing Crosby. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! and to all a goodnight!"

Last week, Star Magazine reported Lavigne had gone to rehab after experiencing marital issues with husband Chad Kroeger.
“The buzz in her inner circle is that she’s been in rehab for depression and substance abuse issues,” a source told the magazine. “Avril was an emotional wreck over her marital problems, and she turned to partying to deal with the pain.”
According to the Star Magazine report, Lavigne and Kroeger have been split up since August, when Lavigne was seen, allegedly drunk, stumbling out of Los Angeles' Chateau Marmont.
“Chad is fine with moving on, but Avril is taking the breakup much harder,” the source explained. “Her entire world seems to be falling apart.”
Although Lavigne and Kroeger, who tied the knot in July 2013, have made appearances as a couple in the past, they haven't been seen together publicly in the last few months.
