It looks like Will is going to finally reveal that he is gay on Nashville, but it may not happen in a way that he would want it to.

On Tuesday, TV Line posted some details on what's about to happen towards the end of the third season of the ABC series. Showrunner Dee Johnson said that Will is probably going to be out of the closet eventually, but there's more.

"I don't know whether it will be voluntary," Johnson added.

Is Someone Going To Get Shot On 'Nashville?'

This gives some curiosity on how Will's homosexuality will unfold. Is someone going to find out and reveal it or is someone going to force him?

Johnson did say that she didn't know if it would be voluntary though, so perhaps it could be Will's decision.

While Will is going to have some twists and turns, there's someone else who is going to be coming with surprises, according to The Hollywood Reporter. After speaking to Eric Close (Teddy), it was reported that his character will be making more of an appearance in Rayna's life again.

"There's much more involvement because some things start to happen with Teddy and some of the choices he's making that draw Rayna and the girls back in," Close said. "It always seems to happen that their lives are so intertwined."

Nashville returns on Wednesday, February 4 at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
