Evidence and legality will suddenly become far more important to Toby, and the teen's new attitude will sere to complicate the search for 'A' as well as his relationship with Spencer.

The series' midseason premiere, "Through a Glass, Darkly," will open three months after the events of the Christmas special, and Toby will be ready to done his policeman's uniform by the following episode, which is titled "Fresh Meat." While Toby certainly looks dashing while working to keep Rosewood safe, new photos indicate that he and Spencer will have a rather public fight.

In "Fresh Meat," Toby will have to determine if he can trust suspiciously appearing evidence, and episode 16, "Over a Barrel," will see Toby interfere in the Liars' efforts to procure Mona's missing laptop.

Unfortunately, it is unknown which half of the couple will prevail. Will Toby stay allied with the Liars, or will his badge make him see the entire situation differently?
