Fans saw Slaughter and Lil Fizz go head-to-head several times on the pilot season. But she says that aspect of their relationship as changed as they learn to co-parent for the sake of their son, Kameron.

"We're definitely in a better space," she revealed to VLAD-TV earlier this month.

She added that they have gotten to the point where they don't necessarily have to talk solely about their four-year-old child.

"We're actually in a place where we can just talk about whatever is going on in our day. To be honest that was one of the reasons that I did the show."

She went on to say that her father, who is a famous gospel singer, encouraged her to use the platform to improve her relationship with Lil Fizz. The aspiring singer also said since doing the show they have been able to work out their schedule as well.

"It's actually been a blessing in terms of strengthening the co-parenting relationship. And helping us secure the foundation which was restoring trust so we could rebuild the friendship."

She also debunked any rumors that she attacked Lil Fizz's ex-girlfriend, Amanda Secor, because she was jealous of her dating Lil Fizz. Slaughter confirmed that she was only concerned about who was coming around the child.

"My thing was solely about Kameron."
