Someone is framing the Rosewood teen (ahem, Alison) for the recently discovered death, and the events of "How the 'A' Stole Christmas" don't even come close to exonerating Troian Bellisario's character. In fact, thanks to the Lairs penchant for breaking the law, the evidence from Ali's attic may not even be admissible.

"It's about whether the police are going to take that as evidence or can we even turn that in because, technically, we're breaking and entering so we might have proof of it," Bellisario told Wetpaint.

The New Year will bring with it even more mysteries as Pretty Little Liars heads into season 5B. While the midseason premiere will jump three months into the future, Spencer's fate will still be up in the air.

"Spencer is only out on bail for murder right now, and so you get to find out if she gets incarcerated basically or if she goes to trial," Bellisario informed Wetpaint.

It looks like fans will have to tune in to find out more - and to see a confrontation between Spencer, Toby (Keegan Allen), and his shiny new police badge.
