A sense of guilt lead the angel to check in on his vessel's daughter during "The Things We Left Behind," but Cas (Misha Collins) may have bitten off more than he can chew. However, the midseason finale proved that Castiel will keep going back until Claire is safe.

"It's something new for Castiel, especially new for him as an angel," Collins explained to The Hollywood Reporter. "He had a little bit of experience with some of that stuff when he was human, but now having to sort of engage a human being on a very personal level that doesn't have anything to do with fighting supernatural forces is very new for him. And I think his experience as a human does give him much more empathy and make him want to try a lot harder to make it work."

Claire knows the dangers that can come from mixing with supernatural creatures, and Dean's (Jensen Ackles) little murder spree may make the teen think she really is safer on her own. Will Cas be able to turn Claire's life around, or will she continue on the same dangerous path?
