The New Year won't likely be a happy one for several of the current hot couples in Salem on Days of Our Lives.

Sonny Touched By Christmas Tradition

According to Examiner.com, several of the couples who are currently heating up fans' screens could hit a major cooling off period when 2015 rolls around, as they all finally call it quits on their relationships.

One couple the website seems to confirm will finally break things off for good will be the show's youngest couple, JJ (Casey Moss) and Paige (True O'Brien). The two had previously handled several unfortunate situations and thwarted several attempts to keep them apart, but JJ will feel too guilty about sleeping with Paige's mother, Eve (Kassie Depaiva) twice-and his guilt will cause him to confess to her that he cheated, ending their romance. It is unclear however if he will actually make the effort to tell his girlfriend the full extent of the truth.

JJ And Eve Sleep Together Again

Married couple Will (Guy Wilson) and Sonny (Freddie Smith) could also find themselves breaking up ahead of their first anniversary. The two have been somewhat on the rocks lately, ever since Will left to go to Hollywood and virtually ignored his husband while he was gone. Since his return, the two also fought over Will lying about losing the job he had in California.

However, what could potentially split the couple apart will actually be the appearance of Sonny's secret ex, Paul Narita (Christopher Sean) in town-as he will reportedly swear to Sonny that he won't let the vows he recited with Will stop him from trying to win him back-meaning it could bring some big problems for the couple in 2015.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
