Eminem makes a cameo in Sony’s film The Interview where he reveals the unexpected - he’s gay.

Hollywood Angrily Responds To Cancellation Of The Interview

“When I say things about gay people or people think that my lyrics are homophobic, it’s because I’m gay,” says Eminem, whose lyrics over the years have been deemed discriminatory against the gay community.

James Franco’s character Dave Skylark, who is conducting the interview, is stunned by the news as is Seth Rogen’s character Aaron Rapaport, who is in the control room.

When Franco’s character presses him further, Eminem says he’s “shocked” that the public didn’t realize his secret sooner.

“It’s kind of like I’ve been playing gay peek-a-boo,” Eminem says. “I’ve pretty much been leaving a bread crumb trail of gayness.”

Franco's character then asks Eminem to clarify lyrics from his song “Medicine Ball,” which include the words, "I said nice rectum, I had a vasectomy, Hector. So you can't get pregnant if I bisexually wreck ya."

Eminem admits, “Hector was a real person.”

Although the segment is intended purely for comedic purposes, Eminem delivers a very believable performance.
