Brandon is about to receive some good news on The Fosters, but it looks like he may not be able to accept it.

Three New Cast Members Join 'The Fosters'

On Sunday, the show's Facebook page posted the scene where Brandon's at school and his teacher catches up with him to let him know something pretty exciting- someone from a music program in Idyllwild saw Brandon's previous music performance and wants him to join the program.

Brandon doesn't get too excited over this even though this is a prestigious program that's one of the biggest in the whole country. Not only could he develop as a musician, but he can get into a good college that could help him become the performer he's aspired to become.

But ever since Brandon broke his hand, he hasn't been able to play the piano the same way he used to. Unfortunately, that last competition was during a time when his hands were able to go all out, but things changed.

His teacher understands this, but this might be something worth going for anyway. Not only is this music program a great place with teachers, but they even have therapists.

The clip ends with Brandon not looking too hopeful about trying this out, but there's a good chance he'll try to develop the skills in his hands the way he did before. It's possible that his hand could be a done deal, but perhaps he'll give it a shot anyway.

The Fosters returns on Monday, January 19 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC Family.
