Speaking to E!Online, Baranski started out by saying how Finn is such a swooning character.

"He's very appealing, isn't he?" Baranski said. "He's so handsome and so charming."

Then she went on to weigh in on what was going on between the two of them in season 3, wherein there is a lot of sexual tension between the two of them, and they have tacitly admitted their attraction to the other.

"Don't you love that it's like the old days, like the old movies where romance is in, what's not said and what's not done?" Baranski added. "That's truly sexy."

Baranski hinted at the fact that the two might very well come around in time, and finally get it on. She referred to Alicia and Will's (Josh Gardner) relationship and how that panned out, stating that it took them a long time to finally hook up.

"Look how long they played out, 'Are Alicia and Will ever going to get together?'" she said. "That played out for a long time, that kind of tension between them, the little looks and the little moments...It's that brief encounter where you go, 'Oh, my God!' The audience just longs for that union."

Earlier on, Michelle and Robert King, executive producers of the show, also gave away some hints in an interview.

"He's Alicia's connection to Will's last moments, because he was there [in the courtroom]. He was with Will. And it turns out he was fairly heroic in covering Will. And Finn was hit a few times with gunfire because of that. So Alicia feels a connection there," Robert said.
