Olympic swim champion Ryan Lochte wants to become the next "The Bachelor" but his price is not cheap - the gold medalist wants at least $750,000 to appear on the matchmaking show.

Lochte expressing his interest to appear on ABC's hit reality show to Access Hollywood after the Summer Olympics ended on Aug. 15.

"I definitely would because, you know, before I was training so much that I didn't have time for a girlfriend, [but] I wanted to give that perfect someone my heart," he said.

According to Radar Online, Lochte's agents spoke with the show's producers and quoted a sum of at least $750,000 to begin the negotiating process. That figure could quickly climb to $1 million depending on the details within the contract, added the report.

"Ryan's agents are getting besieged with offers and deals, everything from 'The Bachelor,' his own reality show, and some overseas movies," a source told the site exclusively.

The report also claimed that ABC's producers will begin sending the paperwork to Lochte's team in the next week or so and with that, the 28-year-old will need to confirm the casting as soon as possible.

"Ryan is acutely aware that he has to attach himself to the right projects and endorsements that won't do damage to his all American image. As much as he'd like to do it, Ryan does have some reservations about 'The Bachelor' because he wouldn't have any control on how he is portrayed on the show," the insider added.

"Access Hollywood" spoke with "The Bachelor" host Chris Harrison about Lochte starring on the show.

"Here's the problem: you can't pee in the hot tub," Harrison told Access Hollywood host Shaun Robinson on Aug. 15. "Apparently he told [Ryan] Seacrest he pees in the pool every time he gets in. You can't pee in the hot tub - that's not hot! That's not sexy. If he'll leave the Speedo on [and] not pee in the pool, we'll be good."

"He'd be a great bachelor," Harrison also added.

Lochte recently taped a guest appearance on "90210" and admitted that he is also interested in competing on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars."

"90210" season 5 premieres Monday, Oct. 8 at 8/7c; Ryan's episode will air on Oct. 29.
