On Monday, she took to her Twitter page to reveal a nightmare that she was glad to wake up from.

"love waking up from horrible dreams like THANK THE LORD NONE OF THATS REAL," she wrote.

Some were probably wondering what exactly happened in Maroney's mind while she was asleep. She gave the details on what her dream was about, which involved her expensive technologies being destroyed.

"had a dream I went down a waterslide in my car with my phone, laptop, n everything I owned.. then had to swim out n leave it all behind tf," she wrote.

Maroney is no stranger to talking about her days on social media; she tends to post inspiring quotes for her followers, something that she has fun with since it can be motivating for others.

"It's great to be able to motivate people by posting little inspirational mantras, but I also like to have fun with social media," the gymnast told Adidas earlier this year. "It's definitely one of the most important things in my life- to have that connection with my friends and fans. That's my chance to let people learn a little bit about who I am."
